Section VII
We believe that Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God in a state of innocence. Through deliberate disobedience, they fell from their sinless state and as a consequence were separated from God, and became subject to spiritual and physical death. We believe that through Adam’s transgressions, the entire human race inherited a corrupt nature that is essentially evil and unable to please God.
